The Secret to Delicious, Healthy Eating

To start, eating healthy does not have to be expensive. In fact, there are numerous guides online on how to eat healthy while on a budget. There are even college students who eat healthy, and we all know what type of budget they have!
However, the bigger issue seems to be that eating healthy isn’t tasty. At all.
Why is this? Well, this is because people believe that in order to eat healthy, you can only eat flavorless chicken, rice, salads with no dressings on them, and just forget the thought of your taste buds ever being satisfied ever again.

Many people view healthy eating in this manner because of the type of content the fitness industry often finds themselves putting out. It’s almost like we are forcing people to stop eating everything besides salads just to be sure we are avoiding any bad ingredients.
Eating healthy simply comes down to just finding the right mix of foods you like, and having fun when trying them together. In fact, did you know that there are a TON of desserts that you can make, with recipes found online, that are completely healthy and often involve protein powders?
This is because when you experiment with foods you like, you begin to learn what type of combinations work for you, and which ones don’t.
You no longer have to stuff yourself with only greens, avoid carbs entirely, and avoid eating out with people. Instead, it just comes down to learning more about what foods are healthy, and which ones are not. However, it is also beneficial to learn more macronutrients.
Macronutrients are proteins, carbs, and fats, which are the basics that make up what you eat. And of course, you already know about calories, which is king.
The reason you need to know these is to understand that the bottom line is this: With a proper macronutrient balance, and adjusting caloric intake to your goal (whether it be building muscle, burning fat, or maintenance), then you have A LOT more freedom than you originally thought.
So take the time and learn more about what healthy foods REALLY are, and how they are macronutrient and calorie wise. When this is done, you will see that eating healthy can be delicious, easy on the wallet AND fun. What better combo is there than that?
