A Strength Training Dilemma: Should you have a coach on the Internet or In Person?

A Strength Training Dilemma: Should you have a coach on the Internet or In Person?

Many industries have been revolutionized by the rapid advancement of technology and the wonders of the internet, even those that seem inherently physical such as fitness and strength training. The digitization of this industry goes beyond streaming fitness videos and illustrated workouts. I offer personal fitness and strength training to my clients via the internet, and they are able to reap the benefits of a personal trainer with the convenience of the digital age.

Some Things Never Change

Before we talk about what sets online training apart, let’s discuss what stays the same, whether you are training in person or via the internet. In both training settings, you get individualized attention and motivation. Just like any other physical trainer, I work with you to achieve your fitness goals. We will discuss what you want to work on and what you will need to do to achieve your ideal fitness level.

I will motivate you to work towards those goals when you need an extra push to get you going. If you are self-conscious about your appearance and you prefer to workout at home, you will still have the ability to do so. In fact, it will be easier than ever, because I can communicate with you regarding your schedule and at your pace vs. trying to find a location to meet.

Some Things Change a Lot

Which brings us to what makes online strength and fitness training different from in-person training. First and foremost is the substantial difference in cost. An in-person trainer can range anywhere from $600 to over $2000 per month depending on a number of factors, such as number of sessions, location (home versus gym), and the individual trainer’s qualifications and specialties.

All of my online training packages are priced below the low end of an in-person trainer. My online training services range from $197 to $447 per month, making online training a much more affordable route to achieving your fitness goals.

The Most Convenient Way to Train

If you have ever hired an in-person personal trainer, you know how difficult it can be to not only find a time that works for both of you, but also, find a trainer that lives nearby. Online training eliminates the challenge of working out based on someone else’s timetable no matter where you live.

As my online training client, you can train when you want, where you want, and how you want, and still have my services to fall back on for support, guidance, and motivation. I want to help you become a better, stronger you, and that means giving you the tools to better yourself on your own terms. Where you live and when your trainer can see you shouldn’t dictate whether or not you can better yourself.

Communication is Key

As an online fitness and strength trainer, I have more opportunities to check on your progress and help you reach different levels of success. Whether you prefer a face-to-face chat via Skype, real-time communication with texting, or the easy-going informal approach of email, you and I will be able to discuss your progress and any questions or concerns you have about reaching your goals or your fitness plan.

Personal fitness and strength training has translated extremely well into the digital world, and it’s easier and more affordable than ever to get the body and strength you want with the guidance and support you need to do it. In fact, I think the technological revolution has made the fitness community better than ever.

There’s more support, competition, and accountability than ever before and you can take the first step to becoming a new you by enrolling in one of my online training programs. Get started by clicking below! I hope to see you soon!
